Assistance for a newbie to this site, please

So far I am having difficulty recording military aircraft that I have sighted, USAF C130s and some UK, Spanish and French military, coast guard and a lot of helicopters. Can someone guide me as I am obviously missing something because the civil side of the site is fantastic. Thanks

Just to clarify, aircraft that I have seen do not appear to be in your database, eg C130 and VC137 aircraft that accompanied Pres. Clinton to Ireland in '98. Please advise what I need to do in that case. Thanks a lot.
