Identical Registrations

What happens if different aircraft have identical registrations? Occasionally with military planes, how can I add a sighting if the registration is already in the database for a different plane?

E.g. Greek Air Force T-6A Texan seen displaying at Fairford RIAT reg 036, but 036 is in the database already as a (somewhat older) Polish Air Force Yak-40.

Regards

Mike

Where it is duplicated and both are on the database you will be able to see all options and you can pick the correct one. If the aircraft you are looking for is not shown then as airbusyoung suggested add it the additions feed. Just be aware as well that some countries allow for registrations to be reused. For example If you type in D-AIMF you will be presented with both an A340 and an A380 and depending on how long you've been spotting it quite possible you may have seen both. Always a good idea to cross check dates and aircraft type not just registrations to ensure you don't get caught out.
