Hi Dennis

One for your list:

N1415 - Bombardier BD700 Global Express - WILMINGTON TRUST https://uk.flightaware.com/photos/view/7667252-e1616853ee18e861869e5d6aeaa59384f0278467/aircrafttype/GLEX

There seem to be several planes starting N1415... but this one isn't there.

Regards Mike

Hi Dennis

XA-JBT - your list has it as a Hawker 125.

I saw this one : https://www.jetphotos.com/registration/XA-JBT Dassault Falcon 2000

Another web pic shows Hawker 125: http://aerspace.blogspot.com/2009/09/hawker-xa-jbt-visits-shannon.html

Can the Reg be transfered to a different plane?

Hi Dennis, re my last update request - one was a Typo should be

N882DL Gulfstream G450

My second request - When I put registration N805WM into add Report it come up with Falcon 900EX c/n 104 not the Global 6000. This might be because it is still tagged as Active.

On same issue - you updated a Polish Air Force C-295M 016 I submitted but again it comes up with Singapore Air Force Gulfstream 016. Does the database just find the first entry rather than give list of possible choices?

Hi JayDee3

I usually put these in manually, but do not put in true reg but a factious one at first.( I use G-BAA).Then when on next page before it is entered into database I change G-BAA to whatever reg it is. It seems to accept this as a manual entry, which can be amended at a later date.

Hi Dennis. so...something completely different from me today....some Norwegian AF a/c to add please.....

RF-5A 100 , c/n RFG.1001, d/d 04.1969, to Turkey 12.1987

F-5A 902 , c/n N.7065 , d/d 1968, wfu 12.2007, preserved

F-16A 285 , c/n 6K-14, d/d 1981, stored/under repair

F-16A 287 , c/n 6K-16, d/d 1981, w/o 05.04.1989, collided with F-16A (78-0294, 294) over Sula, Norway killing one of the pilots, Rune Hernes. He was unable to eject and followed the aircraft until it impacted the ocean. The reason was he lost his entire vertical tail in the collision. When he tried to eject he was in a fast rotating flat spin. The canopy released as it was supposed to, but the two wires attached to the canopy that are supposed to flip a on the seat to tell the seat 'the canopy has cleared', failed. This was caused by a modification yet not performed on this particular aircraft. The two wires ran through two 'metal tubes/pipes' directly behind the seat. The modification was to change these two straight pipes to pipes that expanded at the top (like the end of a trumpet/trombone). Since the aircraft was spinning, the two wires were sheared off by the pipe when they were streched out. The seat than refused to fire, as the valve remained in the wrong position.

F-16B 307 , c/n 6L-7, d/d 1982, w/o 03.05.1995, suffered a bird strike in the air intake after take-off from Rygge air base at 11:38 hours. It was flying with an F-16A going on a bombing mission on a range in southern Norway. Both crew, 1st Lieutenants Bråthen and Vereide, ejected safely after twice attempting to relight the engine. Hi J.D,

here is N882DL: http://www.planelogger.com/Aircraft/Registration/N882DL/900104

If there are identical registrations (which often is the case with military aircraft with shorter numerical serials), the system will take the oldest active one. So you should check if the registration has been recycled.

Cheers,

Dennis

Hi Dennis,

more to add please when you have time to do so..

Tornado 44+06, German AF, c/n 272, active

Tornado 44+32, German AF, c/n 335, scrapped

Gazelle AH.1 XX457, AAC, c/n 1468, preserved

Gazelle AH.1 XZ301, AAC, c/n 1528, scrapped

Lightning F.6 XR772, RAF , c/n 95237, w/o 06.03.1985, crashed into the North Sea twenty miles NE of Skegness, Lincolnshire after loss of control in a spin from 11,000ft, due to a possible structural failure. The pilot ejected but was killed when the parachute failed to deploy.

Lightning F.6 XS898, RAF, c/n 95244, scrapped

Tornado GR.1 ZA452, RAF, c/n 247, preserved

Tornado GR.1 ZD719, RAF, c/n 348, scrapped

Tornado GR.1 ZD743, RAF, c/n 366, w/o 03.07.2012, ZD743 was returning south to Lossiemouth via the Tain weapons range, Ross and Cromarty after a low level sortie over northern Scotland. ZD812 had taken off from Lossiemouth and was heading north to the range to carry out strafing runs. Both arrived earlier than their allocated time and were holding due to a USAF F-15E being on the range. ZD743 was in a left hand pattern at 900ft between the Beatrice and Helmsdale oil rigs. ZD812 commenced a right hand pattern in the same area and was given clearance to enter the range when in a right hand bank. With the other Tornado in a left hand bank they collided belly up seven miles east of the Helmsdale rig and crashed into the Moray Firth. The crew of ZD812 ejected and were pulled from the water by one of two Sea Kings that were scrambled from Lossiemouth. The pilot was killed and the Weapons System Operator received serious injuries.

The crew of ZD743 did not eject and both were killed. They were later named as Squadron Leader Samuel Bailey (aged 35) and Flight Lieutenant Adam Sanders (aged 27)' both were declared as "missing presumed dead". The bodies of Flight Lieutenant Adam Sanders and Squadron Leader Samuel Bailey were recovered from the Moray Firth two weeks later.

Tornado GR.1 ZD810, RAF, c/n 414, scrapped

Tornado GR.1 ZD845, RAF, c/n 432, w/o 26.02.1996, while on an air test from Bruggen the pilot attempted to divert to Laarbruch due to a fire warning. While on approach the aircraft failed to respond to control inputs and the crew were forced to eject. The aircraft crashed eight miles south of Laarbruch west of Kamp Lintford, between Geldern and Issum, Germany. An 18 Squadron Chinook rescued the crew who were only slightly injured. A hot gas leak had started afire in the rear of the aircraft which had damaged the flying controls

Harrier GR.3 XW769, RAF, c/n 712086, w/o 28.06.1986, the pilot was hovering the aircraft with a rearward movement, parallel to the public line at about 200 meters of altitude. He ended his rearward movement with a nose down attitude that seemed steeper than usual. That is when the aircraft nose kept going down past a recoverable angle. The pilot ejected while the aircraft was pointing straight towards the ground, still roughly stationary. He ejected following a roughly horizontal trajectory parallel to the public. Unfortunately he hit the ground before his parachute opened.Pilot Flt.Lt.B.D.Weatherley ,the RAF Germany Harrier Display pilot for the '86 season died as a result.

Jaguar GR.1 XX754, RAF, c/n S51, w/o 13.11.1990, during a formation join up manoeuvre the aircraft flew into a low ridge 87ft above ground level in the desert in Qatar, 100 miles south of Bahrain. The pilot did not eject and was killed. The Jaguars were on a low level training sortie as part of the work up for Operation Granby in the Gulf

Jaguar GR.1 XX824, RAF, c/n S73, preserved

Jaguar GR.1 XX961, RAF, c/n S83, w/o 28.05.1980, during a run and break over the airfield at Bruggen, West Germany the No 2 aircraft (XX961) broke too early and collided with the No 1 (XX964). The pilot of No 1 ejected but the other pilot did not and was killed
