Hi Brian .thank you for the last list of additions . The Sea Vampire XA127 C/N 15226 was taken from the FAA website Aircraft data sheet . As you have pointed out this is totally different to what every other source has (15405). I concur that 15405 is probably correct , but likewise am intrigued as to where they have got 15226 from ? The accident report of XD379 reads to me as pretty catastrophic to the frame so i would be suprised if much survived intact. The current Wrecks and Relics has no connection between the two frames so maybe the FAAM has it wrong.
Now to the boring bit , i have been putting this off for a while , but being in Wales and locked down again with nowhere to go i have trawled through my logs and found a few Tornado F3's to add .

HI Geoff,
I wasn't aware of the duplication on the BAF Magisters, and my records don't show any as coming from Germany (but I was more into US forces so my records aren't as good as they should be!).
I've added them to the DB and shown them as CM.170R's to identify them against the original CM.170's (if that makes sense!).
The whole BAF Magister fleet needs a clean up as some are in as CM.170, and others as CM-170. I'll try to get round to it sometime next week.

The c/ns for the 9 replacement Belgian Magisters did not have a 'D' before the number e.g.the replacement MT-2 was c/n 259, same as the original a/c.
There were also 5 former Luftwaffe Messerschmitt built Magisters delivered to the Belgian AF in 1969 and which retained their German c/ns.:

I've just finished the last one for you but I can't remove the false Chilean AF 581 record from KC-135E 57-1511 (it was put in ages ago before I took over the Military editing). It was never with the Chilean AF and still lays in AMARG. I've put a note on the record asking them to remove their sightings so I can delete it. I'm not sure how they spotted it in the first place as they never had a KC-135E s/n 581 anyway!!

If their numbering follows in sequence (it normally does) then TS-VTV is the last of the batch of 24 making it L81524/TS-VTV. Most (if not all of them) are from AMARG but I only have 1 confirmed ex US Army tie-up.

Yes it was a good race with everyone spinning off. Even Lewis made a couple of mistakes but he's the new rain master (took over from Schuey years ago) and I think that helped him.

Narrative: The Canso plane was abandoned after a forced landing at Dago Lake, Alaska. It was recovered in 1984 and moved to the Alaska Aviation Heritage Museum at Anchorage. Well I finally got bored logging RAF Devon's, Pembroke's, Argosy's, Hasting's, Andover's etc at RAF Northolt as a 15-year old school boy in 1971 so decide this morning to start on your Daks (including the civvy ones that crept in!).
I wish I hadn't as I'm all Dak'd out now and if I ever see another Dak I'll.....let the tyres down! Even my laptop gave up after some 10 hours of inputting civil reg's and decided to update my Windows 10 version instead without asking me (I think it was marginally more fun watching the little icon going round and round than writing out civil reg's).
If ever someone asks you if you want to buy a second-hand C-47 (with one careful owner Guv) - don't believe them! I think some of them are bought and sold more times in a week than I go to the Supermarket !!
Anyway they're all in now so I'm closing down for the night to watch my football team beat Atalanta again and some kind of service will be resumed over the next couple of days.

N212DD ended her life with two DD for Derelict Dakota and not with a forgotten D like in Dementia.
