Registration numbers used on Philippines GAF Nomads.

PLANELOGGER.COM (As at 20201216). Lists all Philippine Nomads as having incorrect Serial (Registration) Numbers. eg: 505 should read 5 606 should read 6 1111 should read 11 1212 should read 12 1313 should read 13 1515 should read 15 1818 should read 18 1919 should read 19 2020 should read 20 2121 should read 21 2222 should read 22 2323 should read 23 5353 should read 53

When the Nomads were initially delivered to the Philippine Air Force, the Registration Numbers were prefixed with the aircraft model type and the C/N. Example: N22B-22, N22B-23. The PAF repainted their aircraft and the registration numbers were modified by deleting the model type as a prefix and just using the C/N as the Registration. At no time (as far as I am aware), have the PAF used double C/N's as a Registration Number. These errors need to be fixed as soon as possible, as the errors are being quoted as being correct on other websites.

ADDITIONAL GAF NOMAD CORRECTIONS: Serial 004 (ZK-NOM) should just read 4 to conform with all of the other entries for Production Nomads.

The 2 Prototype Nomads (VH-SUP & VH-SUR) should show serials of 01 and 02 respectively instead of 1 and 2.

The Production Aircraft VH-AUI and P2-DNO are already shown with serials of 1 and 2 respectively.

Hi Douglas,

Many thanks for the valuable updates which have now been completed.

Luckily I was browsing through the forum looking for a specific thread and saw your request. If you have any future updates/additions would you kindly use the relevant CIVIL aircraft (for Dennis) or MILITARY aircraft (for me) threads so your requests can be actioned in turn with everyone else.

As for the info on other websites, it's their responsibility to check the info...not just lift what someone else says!

Kind regards, Brian
