I have tried to add sightings in the historic area of this database and I have received the message 'Server Error' - is this message because I am using a free account and therefore I am not allowed add my sightings or is there a reason that I am not aware of.

I would be pleased if another user could perhaps enlighten me.

You should be able to post historic sightings, so sorry to hear you were getting an error. Do you know what the error was? If you can provide the error message you received, I will look in to it.
