Russian Aircraft Types - Alphabet

Morning gents,

What is the format used for Russian aircraft series, what alphabet do we use - Roman or Cyrillic?

Asking as I noticed that Antonov UN-46699 has been entered as An-24 PB. This is an Antonov 24-RV, though in Russian alphabet "P" sounds is the same as our "R", and "B" is spoken as we would a "V". In other words, an Antonov 24-RV written in Russian would be PB. But normally I see we put the English equivalent.

Thanks

Hi Dougie,

Roman alphabet should be used, however there may be a few exceptions that have slipped through, as you have found.

I've updated the aircraft in question, let us know if you find any others.
