This week my highlight was SX-KMA Bombardier CL-600 it crossed a clear blue gap in the clouds and was crystal clear. My miss of the week was a Greenland Air Dash 8. The sun was low in the west and the sky hazy, should have seen it but couldn't.

Again a poor week for OTT, the highlight were two United States Marine Corps KC-130J Hercules 165810 and 166764 flying in line astern formation. My miss was I-AIGH B767 of Meridiana Fly. Any one else seen anything interesting to share?

There should be a few good movements around at the moment, with operation Joint Warrier taking place. I know MAN has seen an A400M, and an E3 AWACS in yesterday.

Plenty of good movements up in PIK too last week, and a lot of fighter jets from various nations at the military airfields around Scotland.

Hit was A6-BLC at AUH; missed it several times before but now have the complete set of EY 787s so far.

Miss was an all white A340 at ALA as we taxied in. Couldn't quite see it with the naked eye and the taxiway was too bumpy to use binoculars.

It's always nice to complete a set. I once saw a Rwandan B737 at DBX but could not see its reg. ALA is quite an unusual location. Business or pleasure?

Hi Polehill

I'm currently living in ALA. So it was coming home!

Did see it again a few days later and managed to get the reg - N322AK. It's been here a few days now.

A quiet week in the dank and gloom, with two very quick drive pasts MAN and LPL. This week's highlight was N1 Gulfstream IV FAA - Federal Aviation Administration clear as a bell OTT, at times like that I wish I had a really good long lens. My miss was Ilyushin Il-76TD-90VD of Volga-Dnepr, missed yet again!

Have a good week's spotting.

Mike
