in the last few weeks I regularly get an error message when I try to open a sighting or sometimes want to add an aircraft. I think nobody else mentioned this problem. When I use a different browser it sometimes works. It also works after a certain time. But as you can imagine this is not satisfying. This is the complete message: Error 1015 Ray ID: 9c7a97c03ac0b54c • 2026-02-02 15:06:29 UTC You are being rate limited What happened?

Just a quick warning, but I'm playign around with some rate limiting on the site, as we're getting pounded by lots of activity from China, which I'm fairly sure isnt human!

If you get a warning saying you've been rate limited, wait a few seconds then try again. If you're getting it quite frequently, please post in here and let me know, and I'll change the limit so it works well for normal users, but reduces the activity of the bots on here.
