As many have noticed, the site has been struggling over the last week or two due to significant increases in traffic, primarily from bots and AI search systems indexing the database. Despite efforts to block these, they still seem to get through and hammer the server, making it slow for all users.

We've noticed that most of the traffic seems to be targeting the search functions, so for the time being we have made this members only (Free as well as premium). You will need to register and log in to search for a registration or airline

We'll review this and see if it helps bring traffic levels under control, but from todays stats, it should slash traffic in half almost instantly! We can then review in a few days time if we need to keep it that way.

With RZJETS no longer allowing public access, I can see how the bots and AI search has shifted to Planelogger. The database here is very extensive compared to other sites. Whatever can be done to help reduce the system load is very much appreciated.
