Thanks for adding my last lot. This next batch is from the Havacilik Muzesi/Turkish Air Force Museum in Istanbul. Some of the items are aircraft are already on the DB but listed as Army/Airforce etc with notes about being preserved so I thought it would be a good opportunity to standardise/tidy things up. I have listed the aircraft below as Havacilik Muzesi because that is the most common heading on the DB but it doesn’t matter if they are listed as Turkish Air Force Museum. Spad VII C.1 replica
On the DB as S1420
Seems to be some confusion with this one. It is listed as a replica but it is not. The board next to it and plenty of online references confirm it is a real Spad not a spurious Spad. Also the board next it it lists a registration of S1505. When looking online both S1420 and S1505 show images of the same aircraft, there seems to be some information that suggests it is c/n 1420 with registration S1505. I am hoping you are able to get to the bottom of it but one thing seems certain, it is not a replica.

I think it was a translation error as a couple of places mentioned 'replica' for S1420, I think they actually meant a replica paint scheme of S1420 on frame S1505 - well that what I think I have now translated , I can manage French pretty well but Italian and Spanish is a bit harder for me
I will investigate more but for now have it listed as S1505 (S1420) and removed the replica description
