Do you guys only add the aircraft the first time you see it or everytime?

My log only contains first sightings (errors excepted!). I imagine there are various ways to build a log & this site provides an excellent facility to log the same registration under different ownership if you so wish. I know someone who is thinking of using the site to build a year log for 2014. I suppose it's all down to personal choice.

I add each airplane that I made a photo of during that day. I do not add those that I don't a have a photo of but did fly/taxi by.

As said, personal choice it is.

I only add the first time I see the aircraft then log the aircraft even if it changes ownership as once I have seen it I have seen it for its life. Our if you like collect the plane not the paint.

I try to add the registration the 1st time, however working in the gate area and for an airline, I can tell you that the way some of the aircraft are cycled through many times you see the same aircraft several times in the same week and 2Xs on the same day. For example you may have an aircraft go FLL-EWR-FLL-MDE R.O.N. on MDE and return to FLL the next day and go to BOS.

1 other item to add, some aircraft especially those from the Bahamas are small. I have seen C6-SBB of Sky Bahamas so many times I quit counting. Also, Bahamasair runs their B737-5H6 to FLL 2-3 times a day from Nassau.

Do all you guys take photos or just write down the registrations?

I only log on here for the first time seeing, but I think I added a sighting if I flew it, even if it is a double.

But I do log all sightings on Spot2Log.

Also rshaw41459 how long have you been spotting? that is a huge amount of planes.

Since June 1995. Most people I know have been at it a lot longer, so I can only guess how many they might have seen! I have been to a modest amount of airports overseas, but again, not as many as lot of other people I know. My log is nearly finished now.

I'm new to this site, i only log aircraft that i have photographed over the past 20 years. i never log an aircraft without a photograph to back up my sighting.
