I am new to this planelogger and I might be a bit slow on the workings of it but how do you use this ie adding data etc.

Hi Andy,

Welcome to the site - I hope you enjoy it!

It's fairly straight forward, there are two ways you can record a sighting:

  1. Record A Single Sighting At the top of the screen, you should see a search box. Simply enter a registration, or part of a registration, to search for matches. e.g enter "G-BOA" to receive a list of all BA Concordes. Locate the one you want, and click on it to view more information on it. You should then see two buttons, "Add Sighting" or "Add Flight". You can then fill out details of the sighting/flight, such as date and airports.

  2. Record Multiple Sightings If you are just back from a trip to the airport, or are updating old sightings, you can also use the Record Multiple Sightings method to add a lot of sightings at once. Simply click the "Add Report" button on the top navigation bar. You can then fill out the airport and date, then enter each registration in the box, separated by a comma. e.g to record your concorde sightings, enter "G-BOAA, G-BOAB, G-BOAC" etc.

The system will then look up each registration or you, and add them as a sighting

If you have any further questions, do let us know :)

Nighthawk

Is there a way, when adding multiple sightings, to avoid duplicating?

Hi MYVIMAN,

I'm not quite sure what you mean - you only have one username. On your tablet, when asked to log in, just enter your usual username and password.
