Lufthansa have said the will avoid Eastern Ukraine airspace. All airlines should for now. The truth will come out. My thoughts are with the families of the passengers and crew.

While the truth will no doubt come out, it looks like those behind it may never be brought to justice. It's rumoured most of them have fled to Russia, which if they were involved in supplying the missile systems in the first place, will not be too keen on handing them over.

Already the investigators are having difficulties in investigating this, which is just going to bring more heartbreak for the families.

Hopefully the remains of those who lost their lives will be treated with the respect they deserve, and the investigators given access to do their jobs.
