| Comments | During the takeoff roll the crew noticed an engine fire warning and aborted. The aircraft overran the runway by 40m and came to rest in a field with its nosegear collapsed and the left wingtip touching the ground. The aircraft was damaged beyond repair. 18/04/2001 |

28/03/2001 - EBOS - srushness Seen again at Ostend on 2nd April 2001. This Il-76 was damaged beyond repair on 18th April 2001, during take-off from Ostend. Seen again at Ostend on both 10th & 21st March 2002, parked-up & withdrawn from use. It was subsequently broken-up for scrap between 16-20th June 2003. |
