| Comments | w/o 20.04.74 cr at NAS Agana, Guam while on a training mission from Andersen AFB, to perform "touch-and-go's" at the naval base. Prior to one of the landings, the no. 3 or no. 4 engine had been shut down. The a/c experienced a blow-out of tyres on the right-hand main landing gear on touchdown. It yawed right, skidded across a taxiway and parking ramp narrowly missing a parked line of Douglas A-3 Skywarriors. It finally came to rest against an embankment where the remains of the a/c burned out (with 374 TAW) |
