CommentsC-47B (FMS 44-77003); From 1946 - 49 KN645 was used as the personal aircraft of the British Military Governors of Germany - Sir Sholto Douglas (later Lord Douglas of Kirtleside) and subsequently Gen Sir Brian Robertson (later Lord Robertson of Oakridge). Duties at this time included weekly Thursday trips to Berlin for Control Commission of Germany meetings. Pilot at this time was Neville Freeman, whose logbook records various flights in the aircraft during June 1949; final RAF Dakota service 01.4.1970; soc 10.1.1972;
