| Comments | Landed in error at Hradec Kralove AB in Czechoslovakia 12/10/1959 the airfield's NDB operated on the same frequency as that of an unspecified NATO base, apparently in a deliberate (and in this case successful!) attempt to lure NATO aircraft to that base. In its monthly report for December 1959 the Statistical Office of the Italian Ministry of Defence listed the Italian AF's F-84F strength as '66, including one abroad'. Later returned in poor condition., also reported as escorted to land by two MiG-21s |
