10/07/1976 - OFF - Mikemop I flew on this in July '76 from Lough Derg on a trip organised by Stephen Piercy. We flew from Gatwick to Cork on Dan-Air Avro 748 G-ASPL and then onward by coach to Killaloe. Taking off and landing on the lough was something I'll never forget. If I remember correctly, the whole trip cost £55.00! |
