| Comments | w/o 14.01.94. While flying as No 1 of a pair the a/c suffered engine failure after a bird strike. The pilot took evasive action and put the aircraft into a shallow dive. Although the low altitude warning sounded at 250ft the USMC pilot stayed with the a/c to steer it away from nearby homes and a school and flew into the ground near to the village of Aston Somerville, 5 mi SE of Evesham, Worcs (with 233 OCU) |
