Hi Geoff,
Your request of 28 September (in the old thread 7) has been updated.

Thanks Brian,
don‘t put too much efforts into the solutions to my problems. I already have no idea where in the net I found the info about 32127. I‘m sure it was in some Scandinavian hotel room at night after a couple of self-imported cans of German beer. I noted in Halmstad that the small reg on the plane looked like ending on ...54
F11 museum was closed because of Covid 19, so we only could see through the windows. I noticed that many of the planes in Sweden had one number on tail and another one near the cockpit. I went through the great webside of the museum myself and could not find a clue.

Hi All,
Just to let you know that the C-47 Skytrain fleet (those that are in the DB - not all of the thousands!) have been 'tidied up'. I'll get around to the C-46 Commando before the end of the year (hopefully!)
Kind regards, Brian
Hi Erdni,
Another pub crawl you owe me!
All your Scandinavian trip has been entered and your 'missing' a/c are:
C-130 '37AS' is the one you saw at LBG 08-8603 as "37AS" with 37 AS/86 AW
SP352 fighter at LBG was F-16CM 91-0352/SP as "52FW" with 22 FS/52 FW;
Chopper '02-4584' at STR was almost definitely US Army UH-60A 87-24584 (would have s/n presented as '0-24584') it was with A/1-214 Avn based at Wiesbaden AB at that time.
Take care, Brian
Hi Greg,
Your Rafale A has been added but without a definitive c/s as I've seen it quoted as F-ZRJE, F-ZWRE and F-UHFC !
One point to note is that it wasn't on charge with the FrAF 14.12.1985 as its f/f by Dassault wasn't until 04.7.1986.
Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Brian C,
That's how I like them...short & sweet! Both added for you sir.
Take care, Brian B
Hi Brian
Pub crawl number 2 (or is it already x?) accepted without any restrictions. I read your last posts and thought: To hell with the alphabet!!!! - The man wants to work on C-47s and loves to support Dennis on military transports turned civilian??? Well I can help. Here's a list of Dakotas taken out of Roy Blewetts Survivors 02/12/17 from 2- to C- which crossed my paths at some point:

Thanks Brian,
I'd rather give you Daks from CC- to ZS- but you work to fast to prepare it and even worse, Dennis is working with subsonic speed at the moment. The research yesterday for his next list brought an unexpected number of lost military treasure and police helicopters from 2010/11 and this is only half of my notes done:

CH-06 C-130H Belgian Air Force, already in the DB but here are the crash infos from ASN : Hercules CH-06 of the Belgian Air Force was chartered by the Dutch Air Force (Koninklijke Luchtmacht) to fly the Dutch Air Force's brass band from Italy back to the Netherlands. The transport plane arrived at Verona-Villafranca at 13:33. Forty passengers boarded the plane and at 15:04 the Hercules took off from Villafranca for a short flight to Rimini, where it landed at 15:31. Three passengers deplaned at Rimini and the Hercules was back in the air at 15:55 heading for Eindhoven. The Hercules descended into Eindhoven and contacted Eindhoven Tower at 18:00. Eindhoven Tower cleared the flight for the approach: "Okay, you may continue descent for 1000, as number one in traffic, for a direct final course runway 04, QNH 1027." After reported the runway in sight, the Hercules was cleared to land: "610 is cleared to land runway 04, the wind from 360 degrees 10 knots." Possibly as a result of the presence of a large number of birds near the runway, the co-pilot initiated a go around. Birds were ingested by both left hand engines (no.1 and no. 2), causing both engines to lose power. For reasons unknown the crew shut down engine no. 3 and feathered the propeller. The plane then turned left and crashed off the left side of the runway. Within seconds a fire erupted which was fed by the oxygen from the airplane's oxygen system. Some emergency exits in the main cabin were unreachable because of the fire while other exits could not be opened because of twisting of the fuselage. The fact that there were a large number of passengers on board the plane was not immediately clear tot the fire fighters. It took some 23 minutes before passengers were noted in the main cabin.
Cheers Alfred
Thank you Brian
Unfortunately that rest of my notebook brought nothing much but further mysteries but hey, not a single COP-CHOPPER. If it gets too much, we can switch over to coke, coffee or mineral water anytime.
This is what I prepared this weekend:
ES-TLH L-39C ? HHN 30/10/2011
EP-705 Mi-26 ? Peruvian Army
EP-812 ? Peruvian Army (both LIM 14/11/2010)
TAM-69 C-130 4759?? (LPB 15/11/2010)
TAM-78 Convair 580 (should be an Arava but I noted a Convair and Survivors 2012 has it)
I‘ve got a sneaking suspicion that I misread a fading TAM-70 because that‘s the one that should have been there but I did‘nt see. Can‘t find a picture of that plane after the early 90‘s when it was active.
And then 2 mysteries out of my landing plane in BOG 19/11/2010
FAC5046 ?
FAC1291 ? (might as well be exhibits of the museum since it was still at the airport at the time and we passed it with the plane.Even worse I could have been wrong because of the circumstances. So don‘t care too much.)
The only identified plane in the rest of the book by coincidence is a Dakota. It‘s saturday morning,I‘m sober and outside bad weather and covid 19 are waiting. Let‘s make a further Dakota list:

Not much of a list, but the sun was coming out and no one was coughing in front of my window. I had even more important things to do. Trust me I‘m a liar.

Hi All,
Just to let you know I've completed the clean up of the USAF T-39 Sabreliner fleet and will start on the USN fleet once I've caught up with your latest requests.
As a point of note, I always try to put the a/c into the DB as what it is now (not always what it was built as) but you can always go into 'My Sightings' and amend your version, as mentioned in one of my earlier posts (I think in the last thread (7) regarding the C-135's).
As a lot of the T-39 fleet spent some time in storage at Davis Monthan AFB, AZ, I'd better point out the differences you'll see in what the storage area was called. Again, I always use the acronym for when it first entered, and these are as follows:
Hope this helps.
Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Greg,
Both Helo's added for you. The Black Hawk must be so new I don't think the paint has quite dried on it yet!
Kind regards, Brian
Hi Brian,
I actually live fairly close to where they're made so I see them during the test flights.
Greg
Hi Alfred,
Many thanks for your note on the BUFF. I obviously got very tired and hit the wrong key! As for the Bulldog, I saw it at Marham 08/4/1983 and it was with the RNEFTS. I have put another entry in for the RAF after my sighting so you can log it against that.
All your list has also been added.
Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Greg - I'm very jealous!
Stay safe!
Brian
Hi Erdni,
Your latest list has been added for you. Be careful as the '960' at SCL is fake (really 42-16278). The real '960' crashed 18.1.1974 and is now used as a house !!
I've looked at your two FAC reg's but can't find anything for FAC5046 or anything similar. I think your FAC1291 is really EJC1121. It was operational from BOG until 2011 when it was stored until 2013.
TAM-69 is actually a C-130A (c/n 382-3228). c/n 4759 is C-130H TAM-91.
TAM-78 was at La Paz (stored from May 2008 - a few photos on ABPic) so you did read it off correctly. I can't find any further info on it, or a c/n, unfortunately.
Have a great weekend & take care!
Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Geoff,
Sorry about the Sea Gladiator. I must have had a brain fart as put it in as N5220 instead of N5520 (working too late and making silly mistakes!)
All Hunters added for you. I knew a guy that worked at Kingston and logged everyone off the line and reworked...lucky ~*&$ !!
Have a great weekend.
Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Brian,
Just a couple for you when you are able to please.
L1037 Spitfire mk1 c/n 252 (this c/n is listed on aviation safety network and doesn't seem to tie in with the usual format so not sure how accurate this is)
HG136 Vickers Warwick ASR. Mk I c/n unknown
Thanks
Steve
Hi Steve,
Both added for you, but not a lot of details available on either machine.
I'd say the c/n of the Spitfire is probably correct as a lot of the early build (it is a Mk.1a) didn't have the pre-fixes (CBAF etc.) that we've become used to.
Have a great weekend & stay safe up there.
Kindest regards, Brian

Hello Brian,
No addition for me but one request. Could you "clean" the EC-145 of the french Sécurité Civile please? https://www.planelogger.com/Airline/Fleet/Securite_Civile/248300#RegistrationList
It registered as EC-145 or EC.145 and EC145... Any chance you could formalise this?
And you can also put the S-2 in "historical", it's not flying anymore :(
Thanks and have a nice sunday. Paul
Hi Everyone,
Just to advise that I've now managed to 'clean up' the USN T-39 Sabreliner fleet, as discussed earlier.
I'll play catch-up with your requests before I make a start on the C-12 fleet.
Kind regards, Brian

01, N.2504, French Navy, c/n 01. This is the only Nord 2504 Noratlas built. It first flew on 17 Nov 1958, and was handed over to the Aéronautique Navale on 24 Jun 1959. It was intended to be the first of 24 aircraft for them, but the remaining 23 were cancelled. N° 01 was withdrawn from use on 1 Aug 1987 and donated to Escadrille Pégase in Jun 1988. The Noratlas was flown to Aix - Les Milles on delivery on 26 Jun 1988 as F-GFTS. On 19 Jan 1989 it had registration F-AZNA reserved, but this was not taken up. None of the plans for this aircraft became reality, and as it turned out it would never fly again. It was eventually broken up in 2013.

Hi All,
Just to advise that the USAF C-12 fleet has now been added/cleaned up. USN/USMC and US Army to follow in due course.

Hi Brian
I suspect you've been pub-crawling without me, putting 72-1299 into the DB six times. The one on top of the list is the one you added it's sad polish future and the one you logged like me and sherror. I think the 5 on the bottom should be deleted as fast as possible before somebody logs them.
Take care (starting to worry for you because of hints of alcohol abuse for the first time) Buddy,
Erdni
HI Erdni,
I promise I haven't started drinking without you!
Thanks for pointing out the duplicate entries on 72-1299. The 'old' version of Windows 10 that I previously used would duplicate records if it suddenly lost it's link to the server. My new Microsoft Edge version doesn't do that (thankfully!)
There is one entry against the remaining duplicate record but luckily the logger uses his email address as his ID so I've sent him a quick request for him to change his sighting to the other record so the duplicate can be deleted.
Take care & have a great weekend.
Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Geoff,
Your latest list has now been added.
We don't keep a separate log of the RAFMC numbers so I always try to tie them up to a serial number so people can confirm their ID.
Have a great weekend.
Kindest regards, Brian

Since British Airways cancelled my flight to HNL tomorrow a while ago the weekend possibly won't turn out as great as it could have. Since yesterday it ain't even legally possible to get a hotel in FRA for me. But the courts are already working on that. (Strange things are going on,must be because of Brexit)
Anyway, thanks for your best wishes and thanks in advance,

Hi Brian
Sitting in a hotel at a very quiet HHN I find lots of time for proofreading.Do you remember the Vitenam Air Force. Today I found that The Royal THAT Air Force was operating C-47 L2K-5-42 (46155) . They had less planes than the Luxemburg Navy. Interesting that.
Erdni, a machine even after 1.5 cans of beer
Hi Erdni,
Sorry to hear your trip to HNL was cancelled. Hope you're not getting too drunk in Hahn waiting for all those Ryanair flights?!
Your latest list has just been added. The L-39 was ex Soviet AF and I'm glad to see Noratlas F-EURO was scrapped because they can't agree a Brexit deal !
I'll correct the typo on the THAT Air Force...just for you!
Take care buddy,
Kind regards, Brian
Hi Geoff,
Latest list all added for you.

Hi Greg,
Chinook added for you.

Thanks a lot Brian,
nothing expected in HHN but now that I got clearance to work on a list( ca.2008) I might get rid of my drinking problem.

Hi Alfred,
Your latest list has now been added, and indeed included a few for me!
Many thanks, Brian
Hi All,
Have worked all day trying to play catch-up with your requests but as soon as I get close another bunch come in!
I'm heading for a very busy work week this week so it'll probably be next weekend before I get much time to get to the rest of your requests.
Kind regards, Brian
Hi Brian, Please would you add:
016 Breguet Atlantique ATL2 French Navy.
I'm struggling to find much info on this one.
Thanks, Dan
Hi Steve,
Museum lists all added for you. I can see you're really scraping the barrel with al those replicas!!
Stay safe.
Kind regards, Brian
Hi All,
Just to let you know I have a very busy work week so my normal turnaround times on your requests will be much slower for now.
Thanks for your patience.
Kind regards, Brian
Hi Brian
Can c/n of Jet Provost XR669 be checked because if it runs in sequence it should be PAC/W/19982 (You have PAC/W/19992)
Ron
Hi Brian.
Yes I am scrapping the bottom of the barrel. While I'm down there among the replicas I notice that the Cayley glider replica is listed twice, once as BAPC.089 and BAPC.89. I know you like consistency in these matter so I thought I would bring it to your attention. It looks like most of the BAPC numbers on the DB below 100 don't have the added zeros so I assume this is the way you prefer them listed. I have deleted my entry for BAPC.089 and there are no other sighting for that one so if you want to delete it you can. There are 3 others, BAPC.006, BAPC.036 and BAPC.063 and I am the only one with sighting for all 3. If you want to standardise the to format across the BAPC listings I am happy to delete my sightings for those and re list them once you have added them as BAPC.6, BAPC.36 and BAPC.63 if you wish. One other question regarding ICAO codes for airfield, Gavin the webmaster did add some that were not listed a while ago and invited people to suggest more to be added on the forum. Myself and several other have put forward ones to be added but as yet nothing has changed. I don't know if you have a more direct link to ask for these to be updated or not but I thought I would ask just in case. Finally you listed BAPC.520 as Yorkshire Air Museum when it is Flugausstellung Hermeskeil.
Thanks
Steve
Hi Erdni,
Now I'm convinced you're a Russian spy and have flown on at least half of that list!!
Re the Ce441, my records show XB-KFC to be c/n 441-0232 (& photo proof on ABPic) so I've left the record for 441-0019 at XC-UJX (last confirmed reg for that frame); We can always change it at a later date if my info proves incorrect.
Kindest regards, Brian
HI Matthew,
Thanks for the update on the Jaguar. If you have a date for it's relocation (or first sighting) I'll add that too.
Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Geoff,
Latest list all added for you.
Kind regards, Brian
HI Dan,
Br.1150 ATL.2 added for you. There's never a lot of info on the French a/c unfortunately.
Take care.
Kind regards, Brian
Hi Ron,
I've checked the c/n on JP XR669 and, as far as I can determine, it is correct.
I've found reference to it on several sites, including UK serials, and the only one I can find that thinks it's 19982 is Scramble.
I've come across this before where they don't always run in sequence. They seem to run a batch of 5-10 and then suddenly jump! I'll try to do more digging and if I find it's incorrect I'll amend it.
Kind regards, Brian
HI Steve,
I've had a clean up of the BAPC records as best I can. Thanks for pointing out the dupe on BAPC.89, I've deleted the '089 one so thanks for switching your sighting. I've also amended BAPC.520 to Hermeskeil.
I don't have a direct link to Gavin (unfortunately) but I'll create a new forum topic that clearly states Airfield Updates and hope that he sees and keeps on top of your requests (it's not something that Dennis or I have the ability to do with our admin access).
Kindest regards, Brian
HI all,
I've now managed to add/clean up the USN/USMC C-12 fleet as well as the earlier mentioned USAF fleet. Just the US Army (large list) to go now and I'll advise once it's completed.
Kindest regards, Brian
Hi Brian
Thanks for previous query. Here's another re Me109's. You have 2 with w/no 1190 (4 white) at Duxford which I think is correct and ex DG200 which is listed as 4101.I think this is the w/no and is marked as 12 Black.
Ron
Hi Brian
I put requests for Dennis in here and try to get rid off them by editing because just deleting doesn't work.

Before I find out if this did it, I really must say thank you for adding my requests so fast even though you pointed out that you won't find the time before the weekend. Please don't push yourself to the limit, mortality rate in your country is high enough at the moment, well whom do I tell? And then I hope I don't have to mention, that most russians in the last list were logged by me in their later civil life since you said earlier you wouldn't mind adding ex military regs. Otherwise the Dakota lists were wrong here anyway. Take your time, buddy. If it takes a year it takes a year. Who cares for one more alcohol related death in the EU in times like these?
Thanks in advance,
Erdni (thirsty for additions and beer)

Instead of drinking I prepared a list of uncountable Dakotas HK- to N that's waiting in the wings. Somehow they got overtaken by the included ZS- ones that I prepared for Dennis who's on holiday. The rest of his list is still longer than yours. Don't tell me you are jealous.
Thanks in advance,
Erdni
