Why does for example G-SCTT come up as a Dornier Do.328 when it was a Handley Page Herald, this is not unique as this happens to a lot of aircraft. Also i am finding many errors in aircraft details to from fleets etc. The principle of the site is great but errors abound.

To overcome this problem use add multiple sightings and enter G-SCTTX(example) the site will not recognize the registration and it will ask you to enter type and operator manually. This what I did. To check a Reg use the search Reg bar to check it comes the same as your logs. If it doesn't then do the above. You just have to remember to remove the X afterwards or it will show on your log. Quite a few times I forgot and my logs still show them. To correct it if you forget is to delete and re enter it again. Hope this helps.

Hi,
At present I receive data updates approximately once a month. These then need to be processed and reformatted into something more usable, then imported into the database. As a result of this inconsistencies and mistakes sometimes appear in the processing, and there can be a delay in getting new registrations in there.
The current system isn't really working out, as can be seen by the reports of errors, so instead I am creating a system that will allow us to edit the database directly and maintain it ourselves instead of waiting on new data releases.
I am hoping to have this complete by the end of the month.
