| Comments | written off 03.04.84 whenthe aircraft was fighting a forest fire using a foam filled bucket, on the third pass with a foam filled bucket, the bucket collided with trees on a smoke obscured mountain slope and the aircraft sustained substantial damage to the nose and fuselage. After bouncing back into the air, a forced landing was attempted, but on touchdown, the aircraft rolled onto its side and the aircraft crashed at Aberdere, Cynon Valley area of Rhondda Cynon, Mid Glamorgan, South Wales. The registration was not cancelled by the CAA until 02.02.87 |
